About Kim Paris

Author/Speaker

Singer/Songwriter

Kim Paris Gunter is a dynamic singer, songwriter, speaker and now author whose love of Christ shines through in her words, lyrics and voice.

As a young child, her passion for singing and storytelling was evident during her “performances” for her grandmother in the family living room, and teaching sessions with her imaginary students in the basement classroom. It wasn’t until she coupled her youthful passion with knowledge of Christ’s sacrifice that purchased her salvation that her writing, speaking and singing took on a real significance and purpose.

Since becoming a Christian, she has devoted her Spirit-filled gifts to serve in speaking, teaching, choir, praise team and counseling ministries.

Kim Paris has been pleased to minister before many notable and distinguished people including a former President and First Lady of the United States. But she is most proud of the service the Lord has blessed her to provide to seniors and others in need of the encouragement and support that only the sacred Word of God and songs of Zion can offer.

KimParis has several music projects to her credit, including the 2013 release of “His Way”, a gospel CD that includes 10 songs written and performed by her.  “His Way” features world renowned jazz artists including bassist Gerald Veasley on the title track, “His Way”, and GRAMMY winning saxophonist Kirk Whalum on “Do You Love Me?”

Kim Paris is honored to have released her first book entitled, “Sunshine and Daniel: Seeking Grace in Lost Motherhood”, a memoir, Bible study and guide that addresses the age-old issue of child loss and lost motherhood. Sharing accounts of motherhood lost from Eve to Mary up through her own story, Kim Paris helps mothers work through internal struggles with brokenness and grief over the loss of natural motherhood to uncover the inner strength to serve others in the beautiful ministry of love found in spiritual motherhood.

Kim Paris loves to bless and inspire its listeners.  Kim Paris' book authorship is published through Spirit and Grace Publishing, Ltd. publishers of Christian literature to grow.
